It isn't just the vision correction, which makes things clear again, and pretty much eliminates glasses for the rest of your life, but the overwhelming realization that there are people who care enough to help, and the resulting overwhelming gratitude and happiness knowing that not just one person, but many people really do care, even about people they don't even know and may never know. Of course the financial assistance is also extremely relieving.

You have no idea what it was like to be blind in one eye for almost 2 years and now I can see!
