The Mid-South Lions Sight and Hearing Service L.B. Baker Hall of Honor was established in 2003 by the Past Presidents Committee and the Board of Directors. The Hall of Honor recognizes individuals for outstanding service over the course of many years to Mid-South Lions Sight and Hearing. It is named for Lion L.B. Baker, who was an outstanding Lion and past president of Mid-South. L.B. passed away in March of 2006. He was inducted as the first member of the Hall of Honor in 2003, and his memory lives on through his family, his service to his community, and his fellow Hall of Honor Inductees.
It is the duty of the Past Presidents committee to receive nominations and ultimately elect Hall of Honor Inductees. The Hall of Honor ceremony occurs each year in conjunction with our November business meeting. It's a very prestigious event and a great time to meet and mingle with many of our past presidents, as well as our current members and supporters. We encourage you to attend this year event!
